EILEEN GU, WELCOME TO THE COLLECTIVE

At just 16 years old, Eileen is one of the most exciting prospects in freestyle skiing. Already landing on three FIS World Cup podiums, Eileen is on the road to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and has a mission to encourage youth to push limits through sport worldwide.

Eileen joins Faction’s highly-accomplished women’s team, which includes Olympic Gold medalist Sarah Hoefflin and six-time X-Games medalist Kelly Sildaru, as part of a team who have racked up over 58 medals in the past 5 years and feature films featuring these on-snow stars.

This team, including Mathilde Gremaud, Giulia Tanno, Caroline Claire and Margaux Hackett, are also pushing limits beyond competitions, releasing one of the first women’s-only freestyle film segments this year, to critical acclaim. Watch this space!

    EILEEN ON JOINING THE COLLECTIVE

At an event in San Francisco announcing the partnership, Eileen explained, “Faction is known for having a real community among the athletes. It really is a collective, there’s a sense of being in it together. And in particular I love Faction’s strong emphasis on women in skiing. The skis clearly perform and it’s exciting to be riding with some of the women that inspired me in the sport.”
