    Alex Hall's 3 Medal Haul

Alex was in top form, making it a weekend to remember, bringing home a gold in the Streetstyle, and a silver in both the Mens Slopestyle and the Team Comp.

In the Team Comp, Alex secured the silver medal for the Faction team with a super clean and technical run on the rails, scoring 91.33 points. With one run left and the team sitting in 5th, the pressure was on for Alex and he didn't disappoint!

In the slopestyle, Alex led the way on the jumps throwing down on his first run: left dub 12 lead tail, switch left dub 14 seatbelt japan, switch right dub 12 lead mute for an unbeatable 94 points.

On the rails, in a very high high scoring final Alex earned himself 90 points, enough to bring home the silver medal, just 3 points off the gold.

Finally, in the Streetstyle comp, where the runs were judged by overall impression, it all came together, and Alex earned himself the gold with a kfed and a time-travelling, pencil 12.

    Kelly Wins Slopestyle Gold

Coming into Dew Tour 2018 as the one to beat, Kelly continued her winning form from the Stubai World Cup, with two first place runs in the jumps and rails of the Women's Slopestyle, she finished with a total of 185.67 points, 20 points more than second place. Kelly showed once again that her mental game is second to none, lacing flawless trick after flawless trick.

For her winning run in the jumps Kelly nailed a: right cork nine tail, followed by a switch right 10 mute and finishing with a switch left 10, for a clean 92 points.

In the rails, Kelly smashed her second run for a score of 93.67: Opening with a front switchup pretzel 450, to a front switchup continue 270, 360 nosedrag over the pump bump, slide front 270, and finished with a switch left 270 pretzel 450 on the Mountain Dew jib.

    Team Comp Silver

Representing Faction in the Team Comp this year was Antti Ollila (Pipe), Mac Forehand (Jumps) and Alex Hall (Rails). With each round having an equal weight in points, the level of competition was incredibly high.

Opening up the competition, in his first ever competitive run in the pipe, Antti showed up and scored a 72.67, gracing the modified pipe with his signature style - a highlight being a massive switch tweaked safety straight air. (Take a look at his run below, left)

On the jumps, Dew Tour rookie, 17 year old Mac Forehand, brought his A-game and on his second run scored 91.67 points with his right dub 12 safety, switch left dub 12 mute to blunt dub 16, earning a well deserved 3rd place in the jumps round. (See below right to see Mac's run on the jumps)

Finishing the competition off, and with a podium spot within reach Alex made sure the team was in the running putting down an incredibly technical run, which needs to be seen to be believed (Check it out above), topping the table in the rails with 91.33, and earning the Faction team a solid second place.
